I keep coming back to the same word: humbled.
To everyone who voted for me — thank you. You didn’t just check a box on a ballot. You handed me your trust, and I don’t take that lightly. Whether you knocked on doors with me, put a sign in your yard, prayed for my family, or simply stopped me at the grocery store to share what’s on your mind, you are the reason I get to serve. This win belongs to all of us.
I want to be honest about how I’m walking into this. I don’t have all the answers, and I’m not going to pretend I do. What I have is a deep love for this town, a willingness to work hard, and a commitment to listen more than I talk. Snowflake has been shaped by generations of people who cared enough to show up — and I intend to keep learning from them, from our town staff, and from you.
What I promise you
- I’ll listen first. The best ideas rarely start in a council chamber. They start at kitchen tables, on job sites, and on Main Street. My job is to carry your voice into the room.
- I’ll do the homework. Growth, water, roads, budgets — these deserve careful study, not quick opinions. I’d rather ask one more question than make one bad decision.
- I’ll stay humble. I’m going to get some things wrong. When I do, I’ll own it, learn from it, and do better. You have my word on that.
Come watch me get sworn in
I’ll be sworn in at the regular Town Council meeting on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Snowflake Town Hall. It’s an open meeting, and I would love for you to be there. Bring your family, bring a neighbor. It’s a small moment, but it means the world to me to share it with the community that made it possible.
Between now and then, and long after, my door is open. If something is weighing on you — an idea, a concern, a question about how the town works — I want to hear it. That’s what this is all about.
Thank you again for believing in me. Let’s get to work.
